Research Interests
Design and analysis of algorithms for learning the cause and effect relationships between variables from massive datasets with thousands of variables. These algorithms, known as 'causal discovery' or 'cadis' algorithms (pronouced as cay-dees), are crucial in genomics, weather forecasting, space research, neuroscience, high-frequency stock trading, recommender systems, etc.
I am looking for a PhD student who is interested in developing novel cadis algorithms with applications in biological sciences and medicine. If you are interested and have qualified CSIR-UGC NET Category-1, please feel free to email me.
If you are a BS-MS student at IISER-K with a minor in CDS and wish to develop novel cadis algorithms for either general purpose or for multi-omics systems biology applications, please feel free to email me.
